why these bags?

We wanted a bag that could take a scuff from the boat rail and look better for it. Miami Leathers spent three decades making leather goods for the names you already know, then started making them under their own. Crazy Horse leather darkens where you handle it and lightens where it rubs, waxed canvas does the same, so after a summer it is yours and nobody else's. The weekender is the one for a long weekend, the slings and the waist pack are the one for the day.

The weekender and the rolling duffel fit carry on. The Maxwell, Cambridge and Crazy Horse backpacks take a 16 inch laptop, so does the briefcase and the Structured and Top Zip messengers. Q: What is Crazy Horse leather?

A: Full grain leather with a wax finish. It scratches and darkens on purpose, that is the patina, and a rub with your hand blends most marks back in. The waxed canvas pieces age the same way.

Q: How do they ship?

A: Miami Leathers ships direct from Florida, so it arrives separately from anything Capelle Miami in the same order, usually within a few days.

Q: Can I return them?

A: Yes. Email us within 30 days, unused, and we sort the return with Miami Leathers for you.

Q: Can it get wet on the boat?

A: Both the leather and the waxed canvas shed light spray. Do not dunk either. Wipe down, let it dry away from heat, and the leather takes a conditioner every few months.
